Five fandom-inspired cocktails for any occasion

So you want to throw a cocktail party with a twist? Or you want to just make a change from the norm? We've encompassed every main cocktail we can think of and put a new slant on them. Green Goblin

Unlike Spider-Man’s nemesis from which this cocktails gets its name, this Sweet and fruity beverage packs a punch with vodka, rum, Schnapps and sour-apple liqueur. Simple and delicious!


  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz. Peach Schnapps
  • 1 oz. Sour Apple Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Prepared sweet-and-sour mix
  • Ginger Ale, to top (optional)


  • Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well and pour over ice cubes in an old-fashioned glass. Serve with a lime wedge.

If the cold never bothered you anyway, this is the cocktail for you! All puns excused, if you want to let it go… ok I’ll stop now, this blended ice thirst-quencher holds some serious alcohol content!


Bottom Layer:

  • 1 oz. Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz. Amaretto
  • 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
  • Ice

Top Layer:

  • 1 oz. (30ml) Coconut Rum
  • 2 oz. (60ml) Lemon Lime Soda
  • Splash Blue Curacao


  • 1. Blend together bottom layer
  • 2. Blend together top layer
  • 3. Splash over Blue Curacao to finish

Tatooine is the place Luke Skywalker first learned to bull’s-eye womp rats in his T-16. It may be a desert planet, but there's nothing like the twin sunset.


  • Ice
  • 1-2 oz. Vodka
  • Orange juice
  • Lemonade
  • 1 slice orange
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 1/2 oz. Cherry Brandy
  • Grenadine


  • 1. In a tall glass filled with ice, pour the vodka, then fill it most of the way full with orange juice and lemonade, and stir.
  • 2. Add a lemon and orange.
  • 3. Slowly pour in the brandy and grenadine.

Slytherin House Mojito

A standard cocktail would never do for a Slytherin student, the champagne twist to the usual Mojito recipe gives it a very Slytherin-esque taste and appearance. A slight oxymoron perhaps, as the least liked house, the mojito has been voted the most popular cocktail in the UK!


  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1 oz. Rum
  • 2 slices lime
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 3 oz. Champagne


  • 1. Muddle mint leaves, limes, rum, sugar in shaker until sugar dissolves
  • 2. Strain into champagne flute
  • 3. Add champagne
  • 4. Garnish with mint

River Song: The Spoiler


The Doctor describes her as ‘Hell in high heels’ but this sweetie is full of devilish bite and exceedingly sophisticated, ‘The Spoiler’ is a new twist on an old idea, although we cannot be held responsible for any spoilers revealed after drinking a few of them!


  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. St. Germain liqueur
  • ½ oz. Lime Juice (Optional: Squeeze a fresh lime instead of adding lime juice)


  • Add all ingredients to a mixer filled with ice, shake well and serve on the rocks with a lime wheel garnish.
